General Hospital spoilers for this week tease that Willow Tait’s days as a congresswoman may be numbered, as her deep dark secrets are about to come to light in the most shocking way possible! Meanwhile, thanks to the Tuesday, October 6 episode of General Hospital, we may finally have an idea of when and how the ABC daytime drama plans to pay tribute to the late, great Tristan Rogers.

As fans know, Rogers—who became a daytime legend playing Robert Scorpio—passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 79 in Palm Springs, California, following a brave battle with lung cancer.

Here is a breakdown of what went down on today’s GH episode, along with what is coming up next in Port Charles!

1. Are Jason and Serena the Next Big Chemistry Test?

It seems the show might be heading down the road toward an unexpected Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) pairing—or maybe we’re just reading too much into those Q mansion scenes! (Are we the only ones?)

Serena tried to save a peregrine falcon nest that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) wanted removed, but her rescue attempt went sideways, and she ended up dangling upside down from the Quartermaine roof! Luckily, Jason showed up and stepped in to help pull her down.

If we read into this moment the way we analyze other classic chem-tests, this is definitely one for the books. So, would you ship a Jason and Serena romance if the show actually goes there?

2. A Major Robert Scorpio Mention Hints at a Coming Farewell

During a scene at the hospital where Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was scheduled for another meeting with Dr. Nichols (Kearran Giovanni), she caught up with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), who dropped a huge update: Robert and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) are coming back to town very soon!

While Felicia didn’t give an exact date, she confirmed they’ll arrive before the year ends. She added that Robert has a few loose ends to tie up in Port Charles—specifically submitting his official resignation as District Attorney.

After handling their business in town, the couple intends to head back to France, where they’ve built a life and decided to make their permanent home. Is this how GH plans to write off Robert Scorpio and pay a heartfelt on-screen tribute to Tristan Rogers? Stay tuned!

3. Lulu Spencer Gets the Dirt on Willow!

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) moonlighted as a nurse to get her next big scoop! Stranger things have certainly happened in Port Charles, but Lulu was determined to snag her next huge headline for The Invader. And who better to get it from than Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who was recently beaten within an inch of his life over at Pentonville?

Sidwell couldn’t resist the opportunity to name names and give Lulu exactly what she wanted. While he made sure to throw Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) under the bus, the next names out of his mouth really caught Lulu’s attention. Sure, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was mentioned, but Lulu locked in the second Sidwell brought up Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)!

Recognizing what a massive story this could be, Lulu stopped him mid-sentence. “Hold that thought,” she instructed before hitting the record button on her phone. “You mean Congresswoman Willow Tait?”

Sidwell’s response? “The one and the same.”

Lulu was all ears, urging him, “Tell me more.”

As seen in this week’s General Hospital promo, Lulu is preparing to drop an absolute bombshell story in The Invader that will catch the entire town off guard. We are completely certain that Willow being exposed is the last thing she wants or expects when Lulu hits publish on her latest piece!

How do you feel about a potential Jason and Serena pairing? What do you think about the show’s plans to honor Tristan Rogers and Robert Scorpio? Sound off in the comments below!
