Exciting News! Child actress Scarlett Spears (Donna, General Hospital) is in her first feature film!
Spears is portraying a young Dora in the latest live-action movie in the Dora the Explorer franchise, Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado. The franchise began with the animated television series Dora the Explorer, which premiered on Nickelodeon on August 14, 2000.
Spears’ mom posted some amazing moments capturing her daughter’s milestone and her portrayal of this iconic and beloved character.
The movie’s story follows Dora, Diego, and their new friends as they brave the treacherous Amazonian jungle, racing to uncover the legendary Sol Dorado treasure before villainous forces claim its immense power.
“It’s not every day your child gets to wake up and say she played young Dora in a movie. Her first feature film, at that.”
