On June 4th, 2009 Lexi Ainsworth assumed the role of Kristina Davis on General Hospital. Today marks 13 years since her debut!

Kristina Davis is the daughter of Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahan) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). When Ainsworth stepped into the role, Kristina was a rebellious teenager who felt like she couldn’t live up to her mother’s expectations and felt like her father wasn’t spending time with her.

Kristina was in an abusive relationship with Kiefer Bauer (Christian Alexander) and Ainsworth was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2011 for the storyline. Ainsworth left the show in 2011. Lindsey Morgan took over the role from 2012-2013.

Ainsworth reprised the role in 2015 when Kristina returned to Port Charles when she tells her family she was suspended from college due to offering sex with her professor for a better grade. Her professor was Parker Forsyth (Ashley Jones). Kristina admitted that she was attracted to her and had feelings for her. They were in a brief relationship.  Kristina opened up to her loved ones that her sexuality is more fluid. Ainsworth won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress for her storyline.

After Kristina and Parker broke up and feeling lost, Kristina was groomed and brainwashed into a cult, Dawn of Day, that was led by Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). This was the last big storyline Ainsworth has had as Kristina.

Ainsworth has been on a handful of times this year which included: Sonny’s return home after being assumed dead, talking to her half-sister, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about dating Kristina’s half-brother, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and supporting her mother’s friendship with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel).

Ainsworth is greatly missed as Kristina and fans hope to see her on General Hospital soon! Help us celebrate Ainsworth’s 13 year anniversary of her debut as Kristina Davis!
