Fans of General Hospital are in for a treat—though it’s not in Port Charles this time. Adam Huss and Alicia Leigh Willis, best known to soap fans as Nikolas Cassadine and Courtney Matthews, will work together for the first time on screen in a brand-new film titled In Her Sleep.

About In Her Sleep

Directed by fellow daytime alum Brittany Underwood—aka Langston Wilde from One Life to Live—In Her Sleep marks her debut as a feature film writer-director. Though new to the feature scene, Underwood has directed other projects, making this an exciting next step in her creative evolution.

About the Actors

Willis played the beloved Courtney Matthews from 2001 to 2006, when her character met a tragically dramatic end. Adam Huss, on the other hand, didn’t take on the role of Nikolas Cassadine until 2021, long after Courtney made her exit. So while their GH characters were once romantically linked in storyline, these two actors never had the chance to bring that romance to life—until this film… in an entirely different universe.

Underwood took to social media to share her excitement about the film, writing: “OK!! Now I can share why this one is so special for me!! Because I got to write it with my INSANELY talented friend #nickroth, writer/director of @hankypankymovie 😁. We may have had… way too much fun writing this one. 🥹 It’s my first time writing a feature AND they let me direct it, so I kinda can’t stop smiling right now.” She added, “Our baby’s finally coming to life, Nick!!”

With seasoned actors, an intriguing storyline, and a passion project at its heart, In Her Sleep promises to be a dream for fans of daytime drama—and for longtime GH fans, a long-overdue on-screen reunion worth staying up for. Stay tuned for updates! (Photo: Instagram.)
