Can I just say how great it has been seeing more of Brad and Lucas on General Hospital?! And can I also ask for more, please?!
In a recent interview with TV Insider, Parry Shen (Brad Cooper) talked about Brad’s dilemmas on the ABC soap. And he certainly has a lot of them at the moment. In the piece Shen he is asked about Brad’s secret admirer. As fans may remember last week Brad was surprised with a bouquet of flowers without a note. He thought they were from his loving husband Lucas, who has been worried about him, but they weren’t! There are very people that they could have been sent by. Britt, Willow, Nelle, or maybe they were received by the wrong Brad? Whoever they are from we are sensing some major drama! Especially, since a mystery admirer is the least of his worries.
Brad is spiraling at the moment thanks to the ongoing drama surrounding the child he is raising as his own with Lucas. Sadly, the baby that they adopted died and in a moment of grief and fear he agreed to swap babies with Nelle. For over a year now, they have been raising Michael Corinthos’ child as theirs. The secret has been eating away at Brad. He has been suffering from major anxiety and nightmares, and the only people who know the truth (Nelle and Julian) aren’t making things easier. “The guy is on high-alert — every time he gets a breather to enjoy his family, another variable rears its ugly head.”
The fear of the truth coming to light is crippling for Brad. Having to face the wrath of Michael, Sonny, and the rest of the town is bad enough. But the idea that he could lose Wiley and Lucas is the hardest part. “[Lucas] is his anchor and reasoning for this elaborate mess he’s gotten himself into.”
