Congratulations are in order for Wally Kurth, who is celebrating his 30th Anniversary with General Hospital! The actor made his first appearance on September 9, 1991, after taking over the role of Ned Ashton from Kurt McKinney.
As one of the best actors in the daytime drama world, Kurth has showcased his talents on Days of Our Lives and As the World Turns, but it’s his time on the ABC soap that is a personal favorite of ours. From the chaos of the Quartermaine family drama to memorable on-screen relationships and who could forget some pretty incredible performances as Eddie Maine?! In our humble opinion, Ned Ashton Quartermaine the perfect character for this Daytime Emmy nominated actor.
