Hey ‘General Hospital’ fans, you’ve been longing for some Dr. Obrecht scenes and some goods news is in. Our soap “mutter” is taking up mother duties on another soap. According to Soap Opera Digest, GH’s Kathleen Gati (Dr. Liesl Obrecht) has joined the cast of “Ladies of the Lake” for season 2. Gati will play the role of Margret Cranston, the mother of Jessica Morris’ character, Crystal Amhurst. Fans will see her in 3 out of four episodes in the second season which airs sometime in 2018. LOTL already hosts a number of GH faves including; Lilly Melgar (ex-Lily), Wally Kurth (Ned), Ian Buchanan (ex-Duke Lavery) with Melgar being the only one returning for season 2.
