Soap Opera News asked you who Steve Burton, as Jason Morgan, should be romantically with when he returns to General Hospital in March.
The Results are In!
The poll options were spread across previous and unexplored romances from Jason’s past. Characters he is connected with through family, friendship, or rivalry were presented as options to choose from.
We didn’t want to limit the possibilities and left it open for write-in votes, and so some of the results may be surprising!
The Honorable Mentions
Maxie Jones, Britt Westbourne, and Sasha Gilmore made up nearly 13% of the votes. Jason and Britt’s romance was one of his last before being trapped under fallen rocks in Greece in 2021.
Maxie and Sasha have primarily been in Jason’s social circle through romantic connections to his friends and family. While these pairings have been unexplored, some soap fans think that it may open exciting new avenues to explore for all characters involved.
Rekindling Romances with Jason Morgan
There have been some dominant relationships throughout Jason Morgan’s 30-year history on General Hospital. Jason is a father, and a couple of women on the canvas are raising his children, whether his kids legitimate or in spirit.

All three romantic pairings have a large and appreciative audience, most of whom have been hoping to see Jason with their favorite woman again before long!
The Runners Up for Jason Morgan
Trailing at the end of the poll, a couple of women in Jason’s life were suggested as possible romantic partners. However, these women are on his mind not because of their potential as lovers but their continued status as antagonists in the lives of those Jason loves.

These partners seem unlikely, but in the wild world of Soap Operas, anything is possible, which has been proven repeatedly!
