On General Hospital for April 28. 2023: Michael makes an accusation, Dex must be discreet, Sonny offers assistance, Holly makes a startling discovery, and Victor has unwelcome guests.
At the mansion, Michael and Willow talk about their concern for Carly. She wants him to go to the PCPD but he doesn’t want to leave her. Sonny tells them that the SEC got a tip about the merger. Willow is concerned that Michael could be implicated but Sonny tells them that the focus is solely on Carly and Drew.
Sonny tells them he is going to the PCPD to make sure that Carly and Joss are ok. Willow goes upstairs to change and when Ned offers Michael his sympathies Michael accuses him of being the one who tipped off the SEC. He reminds Ned of his threat to do just that. Ned is offended that Michael thinks so little of him but when he expresses that to Brook Lynn she tells him that it sounds exactly like something he would do.
Dante tells Joss that Carly is in trouble with the SEC and that Diane is in the interrogation room with her. In the room, the agents tell Carly that they know she’s involved with Drew and they believe there was insider trading around the failed Aurora/ELQ merger. They show her a picture of her and Drew hugging at GH. Diane dismisses it as two extended family members comforting each other during Willow’s health crisis.
The agents tell Carly that they’re not really after her, they are focused on Drew. They want her to tell them where Drew is in exchange for them going easy on her. Carly tells them to go to hell. Diane tells them that they have no solid evidence. The SEC agents tell them that they can hold Carly for 24 hours without charging her.
Carly leaves the room and tells Joss and Sonny that they are looking for Drew but she can’t tell them where he is because he’s looking for Liesl and needs to find her. Sonny calls Brick to help with the situation. A little while later the agents come out and tell Carly that she is free to go for the time being because they found out Drew is on a flight to Maui.
Carly is confused about why they think that and Sonny tells her that he arranged it. He tells her that even though they aren’t together anymore they’re still family. Diane tells her that for the time being Aurora’s assets are all frozen and so are hers!
Dex helps Sonny’s guys prepare the warehouse for the Pikeman deal to go down. He is about to plant a camera when Brick comes in. Brick tells him that Sonny is delayed so he’s there to help set everything up. They talk about the shooting at the warehouse and when Brick leaves to take a call from Sonny, Dex plants the camera. Sonny and the people from Pikeman get to the warehouse, unaware they’re being recorded!
Portia is looking at Trina’s picture on her phone when Scotty approaches her at the hospital. He tells her that he thinks they are in the same boat, waiting for information, and thought she might want some company. They talk about their feelings and fears around the situation and Portia accidentally lets something slip about the rescue mission. Scotty questions her but Portia tells him to talk to Anna.
At the PCPD Jordan tries to call Curtis and then Laura but gets both of their voicemails. After talking to Dante she realizes that Drew is unaccounted for as well and leaves to get some answers.
Holly and Anna talk about Robert trying to convince the WSB to help out with the rescue. Anna tells her that she called in a favor just as Andre Maddox knocks on her hospital room door. Anna introduces them and shows them what he was able to get off the WSB servers about the weapons that the Cassadines were building. Jordan comes in and is surprised to see Andre there.
Jordan knows that there’s a lot they aren’t telling her. Anna explains that they kept her out of the loop to protect her. Jordan insists that they fill her in so she can help. They go over Andre’s information and figure out what Victor’s plan is with the pathogen. Anna and Holly want to call in the WSB immediately but Andre stops them.
Andre tells them that the WSB will just bomb the island and kill everyone on it to stop Victor before he can release the pathogen. They agree to hold off and Holly goes to call Valentin’s sat phone to update them. Anna and Jordan discuss the pathogen unaware that Scotty is listening outside the door.
On the island off of Greenland, the rescue crew has landed. They try to get their bearings and find a signal for their equipment to help them locate the lab. They start planning the rescue and Curtis wants to make sure that is all they are focused on and won’t be trying to stop Victor as well. They finally find a signal and are about to embark when they notice footprints and hear a patrol coming. Valentin drops his sat phone in the snow as they duck for cover behind a boulder. The patrol is about to leave the area when they hear the phone start to ring!
