General Hospital Episode Recap for May 12, 2023

On General Hospital for May 12, 2023: Michael makes a big decision; Dex is thrown; Josslyn visits Willow; Nina weighs her options; and Scott is relieved.

Michael is watching Willow rest through the window when he gets a reply text from Dex, telling him that he’s arrived and is waiting on the roof. Michael goes up to talk to him and tells Dex that he’s decided to not turn Sonny in for Willow and his sibling’s sake. Dex is furious because he put everything on the line to do this job for Michael and now his only options are to stay in the mob or let Sonny find out the truth and then he’s dead.

Michael apologizes and tells him that there’s another option, he can disappear. He offers to give Dex as much money as he needs to set up a life somewhere else but Dex doesn’t want to do that. Michael questions if that’s because of Josslyn.

Lisel goes to check on Willow and they talk on the phone through the window. Liesl tells her that her part of the transfer is done and Willow gets emotional as she thanks her. Liesl makes it clear that they are family and that is not contingent on Willow having a relationship with Nina as well.

After she leaves Willow, Liesl runs into Scotty who wants to reconcile. She tells him about what happened in Greenland and admits that she misses him too. Scotty is hopeful until she tells him that she understands why he supported Elizabeth but she was not ready to forgive him for it. He watches her dejectedly as she walks away from him.

Ava meets Nina at the Savoy and wants to celebrate Liesl being back and Willow being able to get her transplant but Nina can’t stop thinking about what she’s done. She tells Ava about her promise to Willow and thinks that she should confess to her about turning Carly and Drew in. Ava cautions her against it and warns her that she will lose Willow and Sonny if she does. It takes some work but she finally convinces Nina that she’s right.

Carly and Drew are worried about the SEC investigation but thrilled that they can finally be together openly. Josslyn comes over to them and welcomes Drew home. Carly updates her about the SEC case but assures her that she has nothing to worry about. Diane arrives to update Drew and Carly about the case and Josslyn leaves them to talk alone.

Diane tells Drew and Carly that the case against them is strong and she can’t get their assets unfrozen until the investigation is over. Drew wants to give Carly money but she turns it down and Diane supports her in it. She tells them she can only represent one of them and they all decide it should be Carly. Before she leaves she tells them they look great together. Once they’re alone Drew tells Carly they can overcome anything as long as they do it together.

Josslyn goes to see Willow and they talk on the phone. Willow wants to hear all about her life and Josslyn confides in her that she has a new boyfriend. After she leaves Willow to rest she gets a message from Dex and goes up to the roof to meet him. She can tell immediately that something is wrong and he sadly tells her that he has to say goodbye.

Sonny summons Valentin to his office and demands to know if he knew the Pikeman deal was going to put him in danger. Valentin had warned him but had no details and said he doesn’t get told things like that. He tells Sonny that Pikeman wants to work with him again but Sonny tells him that he’s not interested unless they change the way they do business. After Valentin leaves, Sonny’s guard tells him that he has another visitor and shows Michael into the office!
