Another amazing episode of General Hospital is in the can, and guess what? Gio Palmieri finally knows the truth about his parents! He overheard the conversation between Lois and Lulu in today’s GH.
Here’s a breakdown of what happened today on General Hospital:
After keeping an eye on Lois, Lulu decided it was time to confront her backstage. She had her suspicions and, after digging up some juicy intel, she just had to spill the beans to Lois.
Lulu called her out for hiding Gio’s parentage from him his whole life. Lois shot back, saying it was none of her business and to stay out of it. But Lulu insisted that she knows everything.
Even though Lois tried to shut her down, Lulu laid out all the details for her. They started going at each other about messing with people’s lives and Lois came to Brook Lynn’s defense, that she has no clue who the child she gave up for adoption is.
Lulu then demanded that someone better come clean, or she would. Meanwhile, Gio was about to get ready for his next number, when he overheard the conversation.
Later, Emma found him in tears and asked what went down. Gio went off to go hit the stage one more term but as he tried to perform but just couldn’t. After a few seconds of playing the violin, he stopped and announced, “Ladies and gentlemen, I just want to do something I’ve never done before,” He says as he revealed he was going to dedicate this performance to his parents: Brook Lynn and Dante. “Two people who didn’t want me. Who didn’t claim me. They gave me away and have been lying to me my entire life,” he adds. In a fit of frustration, he smashed his violin right on stage and stormed off while everyone stared in shock.
What a performance by Giovanni Mazza!
