Hallmark Channel announced that season twelve of When Calls the Heart, starring Erin Krakow (Blind Date Book Club) and Kevin McGarry (The Wedding Veil), is set to premiere on Sunday, January 5, at 9/8c.
The news was revealed in a surprise teaser promo, which ran during the premiere of Krakow’s Christmas movie – opposite her original series costar, Daniel Lissing – Santa Tell Me.
The network previously announced that Melissa Gilbert (Little House on the Prairie, Sweet Justice, Secrets and Lies, former president of Screen Actors Guild, Co-founder of Modern Prairie and NY Times bestselling author) will guest star in a two-episode arc in the role of Georgie McGill, who shares a surprising past with one special Hope Valley resident.
In addition to Krakow and McGarry, the beloved, long-running series stars Pascale Hutton (Fourth Down and Love), Jack Wagner (Melrose Place), Chris McNally (Holiday Crashers), Kavan Smith (Big Sky River: The Bridal Path) and Viv Leacock (Legend of the Lost Locket).
