You’ve waited — and now it’s finally happening! Hank Northrop, soap star son of General Hospital’s Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe) and the late Days of Our Lives legend Wayne Northrop (ex-Roman Brady), is officially stepping into the daytime spotlight. The young actor makes his Days debut next week as a brand-new character named Liam.

Following in the footsteps of his famous parents, Hank’s about to carve out his own legacy in Salem. The show has kept most details about his character under wraps, but Hank was able to tease one very cool connection — his first scenes are with none other than James Reynolds, whose Abe Carver was once Roman’s police partner and close friend. Talk about full-circle storytelling.

Fans might also recognize Hank from The Morning Show, where he appeared opposite Reese Witherspoon. But now, he’s switching gears and heading straight into soap territory — and by the looks of it, his character Liam is bound to stir things up.

Word is, Liam will be introduced as Abe’s new mentee. Turns out, he used to bully Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews)through high school. Looks like Salem’s about to see what happens when old wounds meet new beginnings.

So, are you excited to meet Liam? Mark your calendars because, according to spoilers, on Wednesday, October 29, Abe meets his new mentee.
