Happy 34th ‘Days of Our Lives’ anniversary to an outstanding actress – Kristian Alfonso [Hope Brady]. On this day [April 14] in soap history, Alfonso debuted as Hope Williams on ‘Days’ – a role she turned down two years earlier.
Alfonso is an American actress and also a former figure skater and fashion model. Her acting career took off in April 1983 as she started playing the role of Hope, a role which would later make her a household name worldwide. During her tenure on the NBC daytime drama, her character quickly fell in love with Bo Brady [Peter Reckell] and they later became one of the greatest supercouples of all time – with the ship name “Bope” [Bo and Hope].
Through the ages – Hope and Bo had a two children together; Shawn Douglas [ex-Brandon Beemer] and Ciara [Vivian Jovanni]. One of the most touching moments of their history was when Bo died in her arms. Her other notable pairings include that with Aiden Jennings [ex-Daniel Cosgrove] and Rafe [Galen Gering].
