After the explosive entrance, Beyond the Gates had its premiere week from February 24 – 28, 2025, and ended the week with a cliffhanger that had us all hyperventilating. As we dove into week two, we were practically perched on the edge of our seats screaming, “NO Dani, don’t do it!” Like us, the wedding guests were gasping, and Dani (Karla Mosley) was turning up the drama! She ordered Hayley (Marquita Goings), the husband-thief, to get on her knees and beg for forgiveness.
Of course we knew Dani the Diva was going to make them pay? Then, just when we thought it couldn’t get any wilder, Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) said that Hayley wasn’t bowing down! Dani then turned to Bill and demanded he do it instead, or else… But just as he pretended to consider it, he grabbed a gun, and BOOM, it went off! Thankfully, no one got shot! But, unbeknownst to Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), she was live the whole time, broadcasting this “nightmare” to the entire world! Oops!
What Is Leslie Hiding on Beyond the Gates?
But that’s not all that got viewers talking! Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is another character our eyes are glued on. In the show’s beginning, when she laid eyes on Ted at the hospital, we knew something was brewing. Who could have guessed she’d end up running Laura (Destiny Love) off the road? Our brains were spinning with questions, speculations and theories, and after today’s Beyond the Gates episode on March 3, 2025, we finally got some clarity.
Turns out she and Ted (Maurice Johnson) had a thing going on back in the day. While at home with Eva (Ambyr Michelle), viewers learned that she’s Ted’s biological daughter—surprise! Hey Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix), that picture-perfect marriage you thought you had with Ted? Yeah, maybe not so much! Leslie revealed that Ted didn’t want anything to do with her or Eva from the moment she got pregnant. But Eva has happily signed up as Nicole’s new interim assistant, perfectly positioned to make Ted answer for his past! For now, their plot is to keep people thinking that Eva is her surrogate daughter until they are ready to drop the bombshell to upend their lives!
Other Happenings In the Episode
Ashley (Jen Jacob) and Andre (Sean Freeman) helped Alix deliver her baby in an elevator. The Duprees had a family meeting at home where Chelsea revealed her phone was live and recorded everything that happened. Plus, Bill and Hayley had their wedding without the crowd! As they arrived home ready to prepare for their honeymoon, Bill got a text from his friend at The Washington Post informing him that he has a press conference to attend. (Photo: CBS)
