Well, get ready, we have some juicy news—according to Soap Opera Digest, Genie Francis will be back onscreen on October 9th. And hold onto your hats because her first scenes are with none other than Jonathan Jackson’s Lucky Spencer.
The last time viewers saw Laura was in the episode that aired on August 28, when Laura and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) decided to embark on a journey to Africa, to search for Lucky. Why, you ask? Because Laura had her fingers crossed that Lucky would be a match for Lulu, who was in serious need of a liver transplant. This dramatic quest signaled the beginning of beloved actress Genie Francis’s annual summer vacation from the show.
