Maggie Sajak was recently spotted on the Days of Our Lives set, and fans were buzzing after she posted a behind-the-scenes photo showing her name on a dressing room door. Naturally, everyone started asking, “Wait, what’s Maggie doing in Salem?” Well, mystery solved.
Maggie Sajak Announces Salem Sweepstakes
As announced on the latest episode of Wheel of Fortune, “Fanday Fundays” are officially here, and you could win yourself a Days of Our Lives VIP set tour, autographed memorabilia, and even a cast meet-and-greet. After all, the legendary soap is celebrating its 60th anniversary on Saturday, November 8. Sixty years of drama, love, heartbreak, and sand slipping through that famous hourglass.
In the promo video shared during Wheel of Fortune, the iconic Days of Our Lives theme plays as Maggie Sajak steps into the beloved Brady Pub. Several Salemites are gathered around, each with a tall glass of something bubbly in hand (complete with Brady Pub labels, of course).
“Is that who I think it is?” Greg Rikaart (Leo) asks Emily O’Brien (Gwen).
“I think you’re right,” she replies.
Then Maggie walks over to the bar, takes a glass from Galen Gering (aka Rafe), and declares, “It is I — Maggie Sajak bringing you the Salem Sweepstakes!” She goes on to explain that fans could win the chance to meet some of Salem’s most iconic heroes and villains.
“You wouldn’t,” Robert Scott Wilson (aka Alex) teases as he takes a sip. “Oh, yes, I would,” she fires back.
As the video wraps, Sajak calls it the ultimate Days of Our Lives fantastic experience, and Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) joins in for a toast: “And a happy 60th anniversary!” The cast raises their glasses and cheers, “Yeah!”
Who is Maggie Sajak?
Sajak is an American television personality and country music singer. The daughter of longtime Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak and photographer Lesly Brown Sajak, she serves as the show’s on-air social media correspondent and has also appeared as a special Super Bowl correspondent for Inside Edition.
