On Tuesday, General Hospital viewers were surprised to see an unfamiliar face playing the beloved Monica Quartermaine who has been portrayed by Leslie Charleson since 1977!
The temporary recast is Holly Kaplan who is no stranger to soaps, having played Nurse Brenda for over a year on Days of Our Lives! She also appeared on many other shows including Better Call Saul, American Crime Story, How To Get Away With Murder, Scrubs and House.
No word on how long Kaplan is stepping into the role for or why a temp recast was needed but we wish her well and wish Leslie a speedy return!
