It’s been a minute, but Hudson West—who was last seen on General Hospital as Jake Webber in the summer of 2024—is heading back to daytime TV! This time, however, he will be appearing on CBS’s iconic game show The Price is Right, with his episode set to air on Tuesday, October 6.
Hudson West Heads to The Price Is Right
Multiple soap opera stars have appeared on The Price is Right over the years, both as guest models during special daytime crossover weeks and as contestants before striking it big. Take Robert Scott Wilson, for example! The actor, who currently plays Alex Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives (and previously played Ben Weston on DAYS and Pete Cortlandt on All My Children), made television history as the show’s very first male model. Aside from him, daytime fan favorites such as Karla Mosley, Melissa Ordway, Bryton James, Joshua Morrow, Daniel Goddard, Lawrence Saint-Victor, and many more have graced The Price is Right stage.
The Price is Right is an American television game show staple. Originally created as a 1972 revival by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman of their 1956–1965 series of the same name, the modern version added several signature gameplay elements. Contestants selected directly from the studio audience are called onstage with the iconic catchphrase “Come on down!” to guess the prices of products and big-ticket prizes. Since premiering on CBS on September 4, 1972, the program has aired over 10,000 episodes!
Be sure to tune in and check out Hudson West on the October 6 broadcast!
