In a candid and unfiltered interview now live on YouTube, Hunter Tylo, best known for her long-running role as Dr. Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful, opened up like never before. The conversation took place on The Unexpected Cosmology channel, hosted by Noel Joshua Hadley and Jenna Rose.
After stepping away from Hollywood for a couple of years, Tylo is finally breaking her silence. She’s been pretty under the radar lately, so fans were eager to hear what she’s been up to.
What Happened to Hunter Tylo?
During the interview, Tylo reflected on her time working in daytime TV, including roles on multiple soap operas. She got real about her relationships, her reasons for turning down a return to The Bold and the Beautiful—which led to the show recasting her character—and why she ultimately walked away from the role.
She didn’t shy away from the gossip either. Tylo addressed the whole Botox chatter head-on and even set the record straight about some of the incorrect info floating around about her on Wikipedia. She also addressed one of the big reasons she decided to do the interview. To reconnect with her fans and help others who might be dealing with narcissistic or abusive relationships.
As for acting again? She touches on that, too. You’ll have to watch to find out where she stands.
Hunter Tylo’s soap opera legacy is nothing short of iconic. She played Taylor on The Bold and the Beautiful from 1990 to 2002, then again from 2004 to 2014, and made a return from 2018 to 2019. Before that, she portrayed Marina Toscano on Days of Our Lives from 1989 to 1990 and Robin McCall on All My Children from 1985 to 1988.
