Ian Buchanan has played the role of Duke Lavery on General Hospital on and off since 1986. The character was killed off in 2015 but made some ghostly appearances on the show, the latest being on December 16, 2020. In an interview with Soap Hub about his surprise return to the show, he revealed how ecstatic he was. When asked if he would reprise the role in 2021, he stated, “I am always happy to show up there and play for a day or two. Anything more would require careful consideration.” So, would you like to see Duke permanently back on the canvas?
