Chris McKenna inadvertently generated considerable speculation that Jessica Tuck could be returning to General Hospital when he shared a photo of himself and her on the set of the ABC daytime drama.
McKenna’s clear intention was to show off the reunion with his former onscreen sister when he posted that behind-the-scenes shot but you know soap fans — their investigative caps are on, wondering if the show could be bringing back Tuck’s character, Cassandra Pierce, from the dead. And it wouldn’t be the first time the soap brought someone back from the dead. We could name a few, but anyhow…
On May 2, McKenna took to his social media accounts with the BTS picture and the caption, “I can’t tell you what an unexpected joy it was to run into THE @jesstuck today on set. My long-lost big sis from #OLTL.”

As many longtime ABC soap viewers know, the two played onscreen brother and sister on One Life to Live, with McKenna playing Joey Buchanan from 1990 to 1993 and Tuck playing Megan Gordon from 1988 to 2012.
Fast Forward many years later, Tuck made her General Hospital debut as Cassandra Pierce in 2017. She continued with the show until 2019, when her character was “killed off.” But this is a soap; her character was left presumed dead and no body was found. So clearly, a return for her is not far-fetched.
