Days of Our Lives viewers were in for an absolute treat during the Tuesday, October 20 episode! While fans were wiping away tears over Sophia’s emotional reunion with her grieving mother, the soap dropped a game-changing photo reveal that officially put a face to the much-talked-about Dominic Marino.
After sitting down with Sydney at the Brady Pub, Dante finally crossed paths with the parents of his bride-to-be. During their chat, Dante pulled out his phone to share a photo of his friend Dominic—and the handsome face staring back from the screen belonged to popular British actor Kyle Pryor!
But does this surprise photo reveal confirm that Pryor is officially stepping into the role of Dominic Marino? We will have to wait and see!
Update: Days of Our Lives confirms that Kyle Pryor has joined the cast in the role of Dominic. The actor began taping at the end of 2025, but due to the show’s far-advanced taping schedule, he will first be seen on November 2 when he arrives in Salem as the son of Marlena Evans.
In addition, the Peacock soap opera will celebrate its 61st anniversary with two special episodes featuring Dominic’s arrival as well as the return of Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) on November 6 and November 9.
Who Is Kyle Pryor?
Born on January 10, 1984, in Surrey, England, Kyle Pryor is a seasoned actor with a rich history in international television and stunt work.
Soap opera fans will instantly recognize Pryor from his standout role as Dr. Nate Cooper on Australia’s long-running hit drama Home and Away, as well as his portrayal of deputy headmaster Laurie Shelby on the British Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks. Before stepping into leading soap roles, Pryor showcased his physical talent as a stuntman on major feature films, including Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.
His early career also saw him featured across several New Zealand-based television productions, such as This Is Not My Life, Go Girls, and the fantasy series Legend of the Seeker.
Off-screen, Pryor is an accomplished martial artist. He began training in Taekwondo at age 14, competing nationally across the UK where he won both the British and English Championships in his weight and grade category before earning his Distinction Black Belt in 2003. Pryor went on to complete a Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts in Media, Culture, and Sports Science at the University of Worcester, later receiving full New Zealand citizenship in late 2011.
A Spartacus Connection in Salem!
Interestingly enough, joining Days of Our Lives gives Pryor an automatic connection to his new castmate Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera)!
Pryor landed his first big international break playing Marcus in the 2010 hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The action series is the very same show where Feuerriegel rose to international fame as the fan-favorite gladiator recruit Agron across Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Spartacus: Vengeance, and Spartacus: War of the Damned.
Now that Pryor’s character, Dominic Marino, is officially tied into the canvas, viewers will have to stay tuned to see how his arrival shakes up Salem and what secret ties he brings with him!
