Chris McKenna is back on soaps and it’s really a gift for the many who loved him as Joey Buchanan on One Life to Live or even The Young and the Restless’ Detective Mark Harding. After his previous soap gig, albeit short, as Dr. Hayden on The Bold and the Beautiful, McKenna is back delving into the drama in the fictional town of Port Charles on General Hospital, where, as fate would have it, he’s working very closely with Laura Wright as Carly Spencer.
McKenna recently gave fans the ultimate throwback via a snap he posted on Instagram. The still features a shot of him and Wright back in the day, circa 1993. Of course, a picture like this would have several of his followers going “Oh my God,” including Eden McCoy, who plays Wright’s onscreen daughter, Josslyn Jacks. And it was our very own reaction.
Currently, on screen, McKenna, while coming on as a recast Jack Brennan, is tasked with heavy dialogue alongside Wright’s Carly, indicating the show may be very invested in pairing their characters.
