Jacklyn Quackenbush, the makeup maven behind so many of the unforgettable looks we see on General Hospital, is officially closing her GH chapter.
After joining the makeup department in 2019 and leaving her brushstrokes all over Port Charles ever since, Quackenbush was showered with love on her last day at work, December 4, 2025.
During the farewell festivities, Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos) took to his Instagram Stories with a photo of the two sharing a hug. He captioned it, “It’s my favorite person’s last day today. Love you, Jack!! GH isn’t going to be the same without you.”
And Gibson definitely wasn’t the only one feeling all the feels. Adrian Anchondo (Marco Rios) also paid tribute, writing, “I’m so sad I can’t be there for your last day, but just know how important you are to me. I lost all my photos and videos from when I first started on the show and was showing off in your makeup chair.
You helped me with more than just painting over tattoos—you made me feel beautiful when I was feeling down. You listened to all my crazy; you became a therapist to someone who was studying to become one. Thank you for being so amazing and sharing your talent with the world. You will be missed so much. I know you’re going to do so much more, and I’m jealous of those who get to sit in your chair. Love you, my fellow Disney adult.”
Who is Jacklyn Quackenbush?
Over the years, Quackenbush created a number of standout looks—yes, including that unforgettable decomposing makeup (see post below!). Outside of GH, she’s also known for her work on America’s Funniest Home Videos, the short film Claude by Finola Hughes (Anna, GH) and Cassandra James (Terry, GH), and Juliet, among others.
