The Young and the Restless recently asked Jaime Lyn Bauer to reprise her role of Lauralee ‘Lorie’ Brooks for two episodes but she had to turn it down due to prior engagements. In a Facebook post, she shared, “I know that I have yet to finish my European trip from last year, but life moves at such a fast pace as I’m sure most of you would agree. Just got back from a month in Cancun. It was better than ever. So relaxing! Y & R had asked me to do two shows, but unfortunately they wanted to tape it in the middle of my Cancun vacation with family and friends already booked to join us so I said no. So Happy New Year to you all! I pray you had wonderful, loving and memorable holidays! Next post I will attempt to finish telling you about our dream trip of last summer! love,“
Bauer first appeared on Y&R in 1975. She revisited the show in 2018 after a 16-year absence for a special episode. She has also been making sporadic visits to Salem on Days of Our Lives, a show she joined in 1993 and was last seen on in 2018. Would you like to see her reprise her soap opera roles?
