James Lastovic Celebrates A Birthday Milestone – Learn More About Him Here!

Days of Our Lives alum and Netflix’s Insatiable actor, James Lastovic is celebrating his 25th birthday today.


He was born on October 15, 1994, in Santa Rosa, CA and raised in San Diego, CA. He is the son of Lucien Lastovic and Kevin James Prejean. Lastovic was first introduced to acting at the age of 7 when he auditioned for an M&M’s commercial. Not quite ready to take the leap into acting at such a young age, Lastovic sought after a more typical childhood, turning his attention towards sports – namely wrestling, lacrosse, and surfing. The acting flame wasn’t entirely extinguished, Lastovic decided at age 17 to give it another shot and his career has been taking off ever since.


Emmy nominated Hollywood actor James Lastovic has quickly garnered a massive fan base – thanks to his talent, charming real-life persona, and smoldering good looks. Not just a handsome face, Lastovic’s set his sights on taking over Hollywood, mastering his craft coming off of an incredibly successful run on “Days of our Lives,” where he played Joey Johnson has been taking young Hollywood by storm ever since.

Most recently, Lastovica is known for his role of the mysterious hottie ‘Christian Keene’ in Netflix’s dark comedy, “Insatiable.” The show features ‘Patty’ (Debbie Ryan), a high school student who is constantly bullied and underestimated because of her weight. After a summer break away, she returns to school suddenly thinner and seeking payback on those who did her wrong. Lastovic’s character ‘Christian’ plays ‘Patty Bladell’s’ stalker ex-boyfriend, who is hellbent on getting her back. Audiences may also recognize Lastovic’s striking features from his Emmy Nominated performance on the American soap opera “Days of our Lives.” Soon after moving to Los Angeles, Lastovic booked his first breakout role of ‘Joey Johnson,’ Steve and Kayla’s troubled teenage son and into the first year, the role earned him a Daytime Emmy Awards nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series during his nearly 100 episode run on the show.

When he is not busy on set, Lastovic enjoys surfing, weight training, writing and showing support for environmental, mental health, and animal welfare causes.
