It’s been over 12 years since Jon Hensley‘s last acting gig, but is he ready to return to the world of acting? The actor and singer recently shared a post on X honoring his daughter, who is headed to SMU in the fall. He mentioned that maybe it’s time for him to start auditioning again.
In his post, he expressed, “Spring is in the air and this one is officially headed to SMU this fall. I always told myself once the last one gets [to] college, I needed to get my butt back on TV. Maybe it’s time to start auditioning again.”
Jon Hensley last appeared on TV back in 2013, playing the recurring role of Dr. Meade on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, his first television role was in 1985 on the daytime drama One Life to Live as Brody Price. Although that role was short-term, it opened the door for Hensley to be cast in the role he is best known for: the rebellious farmhand Holden Snyder on As the World Turns. He held that role from 1985 until the series finale on September 17, 2010.
After that, he portrayed Dr. Meade on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2012 to 2013. Outside of acting, he is also a singer and songwriter.
So, would you like to see Hensley back on B&B? Or perhaps on The Young and the Restless, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, or Beyond the Gates? (Photo: JPI)
