Days of our Lives has recently been the master at behind-the-scenes content. The content not only keeps fans entertained but also allows them to learn more about their favorite stars. One recent reel from the Peacock soap opera drama features a twist: cast members ask a mystery question, not knowing who will answer it! In the fun clip, Josh Taylor (Roman Brady) had to tackle the question of the story behind his name—a question posed by his colleague Abigail Klein (Stephanie Johnson).
Josh Taylor, who has been a part of the cast of Days of our Lives since 1977, said, “The story behind my name is that my original name was Tim Taylor. And when I went to join SAG, there was another Tim Taylor, so I couldn’t have that.” He further elaborated, “Steve McQueen had a character in Wanted Dead or Alive on television called Josh Randall. I love that character! I love Steve McQueen! That’s where Josh came from.” He quipped, “Ironically, I actually wound up dating his daughter.”
