This Is Us alum, Justin Hartley (ex-Kevin Pearson) has landed a role on NBC’s Quantum Leap. Set 30 years after Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished, the series follows a new team that must restart the project hoping to understand the mysteries behind the machine and its creator. The series is created by Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, with Martin Gero serving as showrunner. The series stars Raymond Lee as the new lead character Dr. Ben Seong, Ernie Hudson, Nanrisa Lee, Mason Alexander Park, and Caitlin Bassett. It premiered on NBC on September 19, 2022.

In the next episode airing on September 26, Ben finds himself headed into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis in 1995. Addison confides to Ian about a discovery and finds herself at odds with Magic and Jenn. 



Hartley will play Jake and his real-life wife, Sofia Pernas will also guest star in the series later this season. Watch a preview below which features the former soap star known for his roles as Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless and Fox Crane on Passions.
