Beyond the Gates is welcoming two new faces to Fairmont Crest and the Country Club next week, and they are guaranteed to shake things up in a major way! Kandi Burruss is stepping into the role of Kalista Kilroy, while Tabitha Brown arrives as Tia Allen.
Both names were revealed in the show’s closing credits. And as seen in the show’s explosive weekly promo video, both stars are dropping by to turn some serious heads and leave jaws on the floor. After all, Fairmont Crest is no stranger to wild drama—just ask con woman child bride Hayley Lawson, the wig-wearing, name-changing Leslie Thomas, or even secret crime lord and bloodthirsty plasma ringleader Heather Armstrong!
Who is Kandi Burruss?
Kandi Burruss is bringing serious star power to the CBS daytime drama. Best known as a founding member of the multi-platinum R&B vocal group Xscape and a powerhouse songwriter, Kandi is also true television royalty. She famously spent fifteen seasons on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, won season three of The Masked Singer, starred in Showtime’s The Chi, and even earned a Tony Award nomination as a producer for Broadway’s The Piano Lesson.
Burruss is not the first Real Housewives star to appear on the CBS daytime drama, either! In fact, right at the very beginning, The Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger made an appearance on the show. Meanwhile, Gizelle Bryant and Dr. Wendy Osefo both guest starred in a December 2025 episode, too.
Seeing her step into the soap world as Kalista Kilroy is an absolute treat for viewers!
Who is Tabitha Brown?
Joining her is the one and only Tabitha Brown, affectionately known by millions across the globe as “America’s Mom.” As an Emmy-winning host, actress, author, and beloved social media icon with millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram, Tabitha brings her signature comforting and calming energy wherever she goes.
She hosts Food Network’s plant-based cooking competition It’s CompliPlated and won a Children’s and Family Emmy Award for her hit YouTube show Tab Time. Watching her bring Tia Allen to life on the canvas is going to be unforgettable.
This is both stars’ first time stepping foot onto a daytime soap opera, but seeing them mix it up in Fairmont Crest takes things to a whole new level. Are you hoping Beyond the Gates decides to keep Kandi and Tabitha around for the long haul? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
