Kate Mansi (Kristina, General Hospital) is celebrating 37th birthday today.
She was born Katharine Theresa Rose Morris on September 15, 1987, in Calabasas, California. Her parents are Jeff and Victoria Morris. She attended Pepperdine University, studying film and public relations before snagging herself a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Mansi always loved dancing since she was a kid. Her mom, who was a dancer, signed her up for dance classes and that’s when her passion took off. By the age of 15, she became part of the Pacific Festival Ballet and performed in notable shows like the Nutcracker, Bambi, Peter Pan, and Heaven and Hell. During college, she took part in the National Womack Speech Competition and managed to nab the second position. Additionally, she also did some volunteer work in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Mansi hopped on board Days of Our Lives as a regular in 2011, rocking the role of Abigail Deveraux. She played the role until the end of 2016 and even snagged her first Daytime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2017. Before her Days gig, Mansi did commercials and popped up as a guest on How I Met Your Mother.
She made a comeback to Days of Our Lives in November 2018 and 2020 for a short stint. Fast forward to 2023, she hopped over to General Hospital to play Kristina Corinthos-Davis.
