Kelly Monaco was temporarily replaced in the role of Sam McCall on General Hospital. Actress, Lindsay Hartley who played roles on Days of Our Lives, Passions and All My Children will be stepping in for her. Monaco’s reason for her exit is apparently due to a breathing problem she suffered on her first day back to work this month. She is now on 14 days quarantine and is set to resume work on Monday, August 3, 2020, all being well. Her real-life mom, Carmina Monaco noted, “Kelly is great and should be back on set Monday. 14 day quarantine after a breathing problem with mask 1st day back. 3 negative Covid test, I’d say she is better than great. Thank you for all of the love“.
Kelly is safe and healthy. First day back she had a hard time with the Covid mask and was given a rather unexpected 14 day quarantine even though she tested negative twice for Covid and a third negative test for Covid antibodies.
