For former soap opera star Kim Zimmer, it is a very significant day. Today marks Zimmer’s 68th birthday. She is widely recognized for her work as Jodie Walker on Santa Barbara, Reva Shayne on Guiding Light, and Echo DiSavoy on One Life to Live.

Zimmer was born on February 2, 1955, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. Her acting career has been a successful one and her work on daytime didn’t go unrecognized as she won four Daytime Emmy Awards for her work on ‘GL’.

She has been happily married to A.C (Allen Cudney) Weary since July 1981. Together they have three children; Rachel, Max and Jake Weary. Soap Opera News wishes Zimmer a very special birthday – may it be one filled with many lifelong memories.
