If you’ve been missing Kyle Lowder (Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful) on your soap screens lately, it’s because he’s been busy preparing for a massive new chapter.
The actor-turned-journalist just dropped some major news on Instagram, and it’s time to set your weekend alarms!
Kyle is officially joining the Newsmax team as a host for the newly rebranded “Wake Up America Weekend.”
After a successful stint as an anchor in Reno, Nevada, Kyle announced in March 2026 that he was relocating to New York City for a national news role, and now we finally know where he’ll be landing.
Taking to Instagram with a promo video, Lowder captioned, “Wake Up America Weekend is rebranded and ready to relaunch this Saturday! Grab your coffee, tea, bloody mary, or mimosa and start your weekends with us on @newsmax . Don’t have cable? No problem. Stream us anytime, anywhere, on the Newsmax+ app. See you Saturday!”
For those who have officially cut the cord, don’t worry—you won’t miss out on Kyle’s new gig. While the show airs on Newsmax, it’s also available to stream “anytime, anywhere” via the Newsmax+ app.
Soap fans will remember him as Brady Black or Rex Brady on Days of Our Lives, as well as Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful.
