Kym Douglas has found love again! The American television personality wears many hats: actress, best-selling author, comedienne, fashion expert, lifestyle expert—you name it! She announced via social media that she is engaged to Tim Robertson and getting married next month—congratulations!
Douglas admitted, “I’m hesitant to share what’s happening in my life the last few months because of the tragedies and hardships caused by the devastating LA fires.” She added, “In the wake of such sorrow, I’ve come to understand that God, through our trials and grief WILL restore and renew. So perhaps this is the perfect time for a story about finding Love After Loss and never losing hope.”
Kym Douglas Is Getting Married
Douglas continued, “After experiencing the profound loss of our beloved spouses, Tim and I never expected our paths to cross mutual friends introduced us and in His infinite wisdom, God had a beautiful plan. We found healing, joy, and love in each other. Tim said it best: “God’s grace never ceases to amaze me.” Tim & I are engaged and will marry next month. I share this with the hope that you remember, even in life’s most difficult seasons, love & joy can bloom again and that it’s never too late.”
Soap fans may remember Douglas for her guest-starring roles on The Bold and the Beautiful as Sharon and The Young and the Restless as Zelda Wilford. She was also married to Y&R vet Jerry Douglas (aka John Abbott) from 1985 until his death in 2021. They have one son, Hunter Douglas.
Douglas died after a brief illness in Los Angeles, California, on November 9, 2021, three days before his 89th birthday.
