“Liason” fans pull out all stops for Steve Burton’s return. Steve Burton is poised to make a triumphant return to General Hospital as Jason Morgan, and the excitement is palpable as his onscreen comeback is set to send shockwaves through Port Charles starting today, on March 4, 2024.
In excited anticipation of his big comeback, die-hard Liason fans have pulled out all the stops to welcome back one half of their favorite duo. Prospect Studios, where the ABC daytime drama goes down, was greeted by a truck carrying huge billboards of Jason and Liz, affectionately known as “Liason,” spanning their years together. The billboard’s message displayed on the truck read, “Welcome home, Steve! Twenty-five years, and we’re still here! – Jason and Elizabeth Fans.”
A Bit of History
Liason Fans say this visit was just one of the many stops on the trip. If you’re a die-hard General Hospital fan, you’ll remember some big moments, like when Elizabeth found comfort in her friendship with Jason after the tragic death of her first love, Lucky Spencer. Their bond grew stronger as Jason helped her through her grief. Things got intense when a bomb was planted in Elizabeth’s studio. Jason realized that his presence was putting her in danger, so he left, breaking her heart. Then, a shocking revelation rocked Elizabeth’s rekindled connection with Lucky, whose past brainwashing caused problems in their relationship. When Jason returned to Port Charles, he and Liz reignited their bond, despite Lucky’s objections. Their enduring connection has made them a beloved pair over the years.
