Another week, another fashion column. This time, it’s General Hospital’s Maura West — or should we say Ava Jerome — taking the crown for Soap Opera News’s Look of the Week for July 21–25. If there’s one thing we know about Ava, it’s that she never walks into a room without making a fashion statement. And this week? She did exactly that.
This week on GH, Ava attended the wedding of Willow and Drew Cain wearing an absolutely stunning emerald green maxi dress that turned heads the moment she walked in.

Ava’s Dress: She wore the Stretch-Crepe Maxi Dress in Emerald Pool by Banana Republic. This dress is all about modern elegance. It has a clean A-line silhouette, a playful asymmetrical neckline, and a high side slit. The fabric is stretch-crepe, but feels as light as chiffon — perfect for both movement and comfort. It comes with a removable belt at the waist to cinch things in just right, and closes with an invisible zipper in the back. It’s sleeveless, unlined, and effortlessly chic.

Ava’s Clutch: Her dress was paired with the Leo Crackle Leather Clutch by Rebecca Minkoff. The metallic finish and structured envelope shape add just the right amount of glam to elevate the whole look. It’s sleek, modern, and the perfect size to carry the essentials (and probably a secret or two, knowing Ava).
Ava’s Earrings: For a pop of soft color, Ava went with the Blue Stone Gold-Tone Double Drop Earrings by Style & Co. The layered aqua stones framed in gold gave a fresh, cool contrast to the bold green dress — subtle, but impactful.
And that hair? Sleek and side-parted, Ava’s hairstyle was polished to perfection. One side was tucked behind her ear and secured with a sparkly gold-toned clip, letting those earrings shine. It was sophisticated with just the right amount of glam, and paired beautifully with her overall look.
