Soap Opera Network announced that Loretta Devine will be in Chapter 2 of Peacock’s Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem as a character named Angela. There will be daily episodes released from July 11th through July 15th.
Devine is well-known for various roles in theater, TV, and film. She played Lorrell Robinson in the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls. Devine played Gloria Matthews in the film “Waiting to Exhale”. Grey’s Anatomy fans know Devine as Adele Webber and she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series in 2011 for the role.
