It’s not every day a reality-TV star swaps the sun-soaked villa for the hyper-modern warzone of a blockbuster video game. But that’s exactly what’s happening with Huda Mustafa — the same Huda who stirred audiences on Love Island USA Season 7 — as she takes on a new kind of mission in the upcoming Call of Duty title from Activision Publishing, dropping on November 14th.
What to Expect?
Weeks after the multiplayer beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 stirred up the usual pre-release hype, the new launch trailer has arrived — and this time, the mission is out of this world. Literally. A mission to Mars.
In the trailer, we see veteran marketing icon of the franchise (the familiar pilot-voice or operator figure) being replaced by an entirely new squad: Huda Mustafa, social-media mega-star and Love Island alum; YouTuber/boxer turned actor Jake Paul; a talking baboon; plus funny cameos from the likes of Terry Crews and Nikki Glaser as members of the “Replacer Corps”.
There’s a gleeful, over-the-top sense of fun in the ad: the squad straps in, revs up a muscle car, and rockets to the red planet with one clear message — the sky’s not the limit anymore.
And Huda? She gets her moment. In one scene, she muses, more or less, that she couldn’t find love on Earth… maybe she’ll find it on Mars. Because why not?
Who Is Huda?
Huda Mustafa is a fitness coach, single mother, and social media influencer from North Carolina who rose to prominence on Love Island USA Season 7.
Huda Mustafa’s journey is grabbing our attention in a pretty delightful way. Whether you loved her on the show, skipped it altogether, or are a die-hard Call of Duty player, her involvement adds a fun new layer to the upcoming launch.
