Marla Adams who is best known for her role as Dina Mergeron on The Young and the Restless has died at the age of 85.

Marla Adams died on Thursday, April 25, 2024 in Los Angeles. No cause of death was disclosed.

Marla Adams was born on August 28, 1938. She stood as an eminent American television actress, renowned for her compelling portrayal of Belle Clemens in The Secret Storm from 1968 to 1974, and as Dina Abbott Mergeron in The Young and the Restless. Her exceptional performance in the latter role earned her the prestigious Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Marla Adams was born in Ocean City, New Jersey. She commenced her illustrious career on the stage and was an alumna of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her theatrical footprint also graced Broadway in the 1958 production of The Visit at the Morosco Theatre alongside theatrical luminaries Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne.

Adams also appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives Generations and Capitol. She is survied by her daughter, Pam Oates, son Gunnar Garat, grandchildren, Gefjon and Stone and her great grandson, Remi.
