What would Salem be without ghostly visits and appearances from beyond? Well, ‘Days of Our Lives’ viewers can gear up to see another one as Matthew Ashford is back as Jack Deveraux next week.
Just when his son reaches a breaking point, his spirit from beyond makes a visit. When JJ (Casey Moss) contemplates committing suicide after all that has transpired with Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) shooting including being exonerated and getting his job back, Jack’s ghost shows up.
In the latest Soap Opera Digest issue, Ashford shares, “This is a really intense story we’re in. It’s never easy when people are considering losing their lives, and it shouldn’t be treated lightly, especially considering everything that’s going on with people and young people these days. The show is taking it pretty seriously.“
Casey Moss is given a JJ-centric episode on December 20 when he remembers his life, write goodbye letters and considers taking his own life. Of the story, Moss tells SOD, “It’s important that we tell these stories and bring it to light, I’m glad DAYS can help people who may be struggling.” ‘Days’ airs weekdays on NBC, don’t forget to tune in.
