Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) recently shared on his Instagram stories
that he will be on The Adam Carolla Show on January 17th. He shared that Marcus Coloma (Nikolas, GH)
gave him a ride to the studio. Coloma
filmed Benard walking through the elaborately decorated studio set to Survivor’s
“Eye Of The Tiger”. The Adam Carolla Show
is a podcast and can be found on various podcast platforms such as PodcastOne
and Spotify. It’s also on his YouTube
Channel Adam Carolla. Benard will be
discussing his work with State of Mind (a YouTube channel of his where he
interviews people, mostly soap stars, about their own struggles with mental
health) to help put an end to stigma surrounding mental health. Benard will also discuss his own struggles
with mental health such as his bipolar disorder and anxiety. Benard will discuss working on “General
Hospital”, how working on daytime is different than working on other mediums of
entertainment, and how the popularity of reality TV took a hit to the daytime
genre.
