The Young and the Restless actress Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) has found the perfect place for a nice getaway! A cabin located in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Ordway and her husband, Justin Gaston, are renovating a cabin for them and their daughters Sophie and Olivia!
In a video announcement on Instagram set to the song Everything We Need by Wilfred, Ordway said, “So our family bought a cabin up here in Hohenwald, TN, and we are going to do a before and after. We’re gonna transform this thing and make it fabulous. Step one is cleaning. This place needs a lot of help. It’s very dirty.”
Her caption for the clip read, “We’re going #offgrid !!! JUST KIDDING… but we are helping renovate a family cabin! Follow along with us on this journey! This is just the beginning! Can’t wait to see this #transformation. Let us know any ideas or suggestions you have to give this place a face lift!”
In the video, Melissa Ordway busts out her best floor-scrubbing moves while the camera zooms around the kitchen, living room and even the bedroom. There’s an adorable clip of her little girls making a splash in a creek, followed by a surprisingly upscale firepit construction in the yard. She also rolls out some footage of their gourmet bacon fry-up over that triumphant fire, and as night falls, they whip up some s’mores—seems like a great spot! Watch the video below!
