Melissa Ordway is celebrating her 10th anniversary as Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless.
Though Ordway’s first major acting part was the recurring role of Jordanna on The CW television series Privileged and she had several films and guest roles thereafter, she made her debut as Abby on April 16, 2013. Abby is the daughter of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson)/.
In 2022, Melissa received her first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Ordway is a frequent guest model on “The Price is Right.” Melissa has starred on “Hollywood Heights” playing the role of Chloe Carter. She has also been seen on the big screen in many movies including Ted, The Incredible Burt Wonderston, A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas, The Last Song, and 17 Again. Her television credits include recurring roles on 90210, Cold Case and Melrose Place. Melissa has also appeared in guest-starring roles on CSI: NY, Entourage, How I Met Your Mother and The League.
Ordway grew up in Snellville, Georgia where she performed in high school theater and community theater productions. After attending Georgia State University, Melissa moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of acting.
