Since leaving General Hospital, Michael Easton has been enjoying some time with his family and his kids, Lilah Belle and Jack. In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, the actor talks about his last days on the set of GH, where he played Dr. Hamilton Finn, his visit to Maurice Benard’s YouTube series State of Mind, and so much more.
But on the subject of his next moves, Easton tells the outlet, “I’ve been spending time with the kids. It’s been really beautiful. They have me at home, and they’re still at the age where they like having me at home! I don’t know how many more years I have of that, so that’s been really wonderful.”
He also talks about a recent surfing trip, “It was nice to get in the ocean for a few days. It just seems to sort of heal and cleanse everything — for me, anyway — being in the saltwater. I do come out feeling a little bit of a rebirth. We kind of traveled up and down the coast for about 400 miles looking for the perfect wave.”
In regards to his professional future, he said, “I’m not done. I think I have more to give as an actor. But I think of it much the same — I’m just traveling up the coast and I’m looking for that right part. I don’t know where that will come from, but I’m not done.”
Michael Easton is a veteran in the soap business, having tackled numerous roles over the years. Today, many fans recognize him for his roles as Tanner Scofield on Days of our Lives, Caleb Morley on Port Charles, John McBain on One Life to Live/GH, or his most recent role as Dr. Hamilton Finn on GH.
