Earlier this month Nancy Lee Grahn, who plays Alexis Davis on General Hospital, took to Twitter to praise her bosses for being amazingly understanding and flexible with her work schedule while she was dealing with a painful medical issue.

In her initial post she said, “To have a job where when I say I’ve a fixable medical prob that needs 2b addressed asap & have exec @valentinifrank say take care of urself & then adjust 200 crew & a schedule that cost lots of time & money is a perk I’m grateful 4. I’m a lucky 26 yr employee of @GeneralHospital.

Fans and friends including former GH writers Patrick Mulcahey and Michele Val Jean quickly jumped in to ask what was going on and she assured them all, “It’s not death, but a benign cyst on some nerve on facet joint or something I can’t spell. It’s cry baby painful & Richard need to put on my underwear and pants but hopefully fixable.”

Happily Grahn was able to have the issue taken care of and she recently took to Twitter again to praise her doctor, saying, “I’m a bit drugged but cogent enough to wanna make out with kerlanjob.org/physicians/mon… and her team @KerlanJobe for removing the literal pain in my ass.

Nancy also assured her friends and fans, “No biggie. All good.” and “I’m already up and about.

We, here at Soap Opera News, are happy to hear she is on the mend and hope her time off won’t take her off our screens for too long!

Speedy recovery, Nancy!
