On April 24, Alice Halsey made her daytime soap opera and Days of our Lives debut as Rachel Black. Now, it has been announced that the highly anticipated ‘Little House On The Prairie’ Netflix reboot has secured its Laura Ingalls in Alice Halsey.
Laura Ingalls will shine in the Netflix reboot, helmed by showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine and CBS Studios. Halsey stands as the first cast member confirmed for this new series, which is poised to be a captivating blend of hopeful family drama, epic survival tales, and the origin story of the American West.
According to Deadline, the official character description, “Laura (Halsey) is a disruptor. Honest to a fault. Questions authority. She’s our window into this adventure. An American icon in waiting. Forget your modern ideas of childhood — the stakes are high for children living in the 19th century.”
Little House on the Prairie is an iconic American Western historical drama television series, loosely based on the Little House on the Prairie book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The series focuses on the Ingalls family, who navigate life on a farm along Plum Creek near Walnut Grove, Minnesota during the transformative years of the 1870s–90s.
