Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr Manning, One Life To Live & General Hospital/ex-Kiki Jerome, General Hospital) has lost both her grandmother and her dog, Pooka over the past couple of days. Her grandmother passed away on Saturday and Pooka passed away on Monday.
Alderson shared a picture of her holding Pooka in an Instagram story with a caption stating, “We lost my Granny this Saturday and now we had to say goodbye to Pooka today. My heart is absolutely shattered. I dont know how to post anything else at this point💔❤️”.
Alderson shared a picture on her Instagram story of what the bottom of the casket for Pooka looked like: a collage of photos of Pooka with her and various family members. The caption with the photo stated, “The inside of Pooka’s casket 💔❤️ Thank you for the outpouring of love”.
Alderson’s grandmother had been living in a nursing home for the last few years of her life. Alderson had shared her struggles of being able to visit and communicate with her at the beginning of the pandemic due to the covid restrictions.
Pooka has been one of Alderson’s family dogs for many years; she had Pooka back when she was still working on One Life To Live that taped in New York City.
