One Life to Live alum, Renee Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline Williamson) is taking on a new primetime role. According to reports, the former soap star is set for a multi-episode arc on CBS’ primetime drama Evil. Goldsberry will play the role of Renee Harris who is described as a dynamic, hard-driving attorney who works for the catholic church with a past connection to David and is the sister of his late girlfriend, Julia. 


The series is written and executive produced by the Kings. It is a series about the battle between science and religion and focuses on a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.
